Playing around with an old machine, I installed a front end on it and put it in the living room. I can now watch the same channels as on the regular myth box, watch the same pictures and movies, play the same music etc.
This is really fun and I can heartily recommend it!
I did this following the front end instructions on the wiki, which have been updated for R5F1.
I think this is going to warrant another nice TV set or possibly a projector. Oh, yea, that front end box should really be replaced with something more appropriate for a living room, while I'm at it...
Oh, yea, and the back end, too...
