Post subject: | Music crashes frontend |
EDIT: I posted this last night and it was gone this morning. I'm pretty sure this is the correct forum to ask this question but will have to post a second time to be sure. I'm using a KnoppMyth-ified svn and was very recently playing music with no troubles. Following a 'rogue' tuner filling up my /myth partition, I deleted all the music from the music directory while attempting to free space. After resolving the other issue, I re-inserted the music and attempted to start using it again. However, every time I click on the music menu item or the one under setup, the frontend immediately closes. The last crash resulted in the following error in .xsession-errors: Code: 2007-07-03 21:28:36.074 Starting media monitor.

Since based on another thread you seem to be running an older version, see the MythtTV 0.20.1 release notes under MythMusic: http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Release_Notes_-_0.20.1#MythMusic There are probably any number of other fixes in the version used in the latest KnoppMyth release... |

There are probably any number of other fixes in the version used in the latest KnoppMyth release... I was just answering your answer in the other topic ![]() This problem came out on a working system with no configuration changes, but just to be sure I updated to svn revision 13815 last night and it still segfaults on me. I'll have to see if there are known problems with libtag which seems to have been running when the frontend went down. |
