Ok, this is a weird one that I haven't seen before:

Backend server runs fine.
One client frontend runs fine.
One client frontend RUNS fine, but the main menu (and all the sub menus) runs too FAST.
Using the cursor arrows to go down ONE option I usually go down two, sometimes three.

Nothing seems to fix it that I have found.
Keyboard is hard-wired (usb) and functions perfectly for everything else.

I have been unable to find anything that will let me adjust response time/speed for MythTV.

Anyone have ideas??

Hi,

A little vague on the hardware information. As a starter, i would check cmos for the key repeat speed setting.

What I was basically looking to find out is if there is a setting in MythTV anywhere to adjust speed of keyboard commands.

I have since managed to get the keyboard slowed down for Myth menus, but when it is perfect in MythTV menus, it is horrible for anything else.

Which is why I didn't get too into specifics of the hardware- fairly sure it is communication between MythTV and the system that is weird, not an actual hardware config issue.
It may just be an odd glitch due to my exact system though, if MythTV does not have any adjustment for keyboard command speed adjustment.

This frontend is a full desktop/gaming/workstation machine, so it is kind of a pita to deal with. Eventually an ir remote will take care of it but I do not yet have one for this system.
