I am looking at different case options and have run across a few that I really like. What I am now looking at is a Silverstone ATX slim case. http://www.silverstonetek.com/products-lc02.htm These cases can use an l-shaped PCI riser card to give you two PCI slots horizontally from one vertical pci slot. I plan on using an nforce2 board and mod the case for the extra spdif and svga brackets that the mobo comes with. My concern is that with 2 cards sharing on physical pci slot on the mobo, will I have problems with 2 pvr250's in this? Would this cause throughput problems when using both cards? I have looked at the MSI Mega 180, and really like the features of some of the other mobo's out there. I really need 2 tuners, and SPDIF out for dvd and dvd/rip playback. (Does DTS pass through?) Thanks, again. I picked up my first tuner yesterday and have been farting around with this thing for a few hours on a test machine and love it... |

One thing to watch for is the temperature. The PVR-350 gets quite hot. Two of them close together in a box that has less than optimal ventilation might give probs. |
