Post subject:  MythWeather time offset

I've configured MythWeather for my city (Austin, TX) and everything seems to work great. However, it's selection of days for the three day forecast seems odd.

I haven't tried looking at the forecast each hour of the day, but I'm guessing that it seems to make it's selection based on GMT and not CDT. If I check the forecast on a Monday morning it will show a three day forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. However on Monday evening it show a forecast for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

This is a problem because it shows weather data for Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday but none for Tuesday. Is there any way to adjust the hour offset for MythWeather?

I'd suggestion posting your question to the MythTV mailing list.

I'm in San Antonio and have the same problem. What's odd though is that it looks like the labels for the days are the actual problem. I cross-checked the actual forecasts with the weather channel and the temp/weather data matches the upcoming three days. The name of the days is off by one.

Also, I've upgraded to 0.16 using the debs, and one of the new features doesn't seem to work. According to the 0.16 release notes: "MythWeather now has animated radar maps." but my maps are still static.

hey count yourself lucky my maps always show unavailable, although they show up just fine in mythweb, of course this really has nothing to do with the knoppmyth debs as I don't use them, just more of a "I feel your pain" post.
