I'm using Mytharchive to create an NTSC DVD of a 30 minute 1080i over-the-air USA broadcast (or even a five minute test clip). Actually I have mytharchive create the iso and then I move it to another computer and burn it to DVD for use in a standalone player. Using the HQ profile causes terrible motion artifacts especially in screen panning. The SP profile is much better at motion but it's a little blocky and grainy, considering the source is HD. I was expecting to get results similar to a commercial DVD, but the SP profile is nowhere near that, and the HQ profile is pretty unwatchable. Has anyone successfully used Mytharchive with the HQ profile? Thanks, Zig |
