I did a clean install of R4V4.1 with my new chaintech 7nif2. on the initial boot i noticed that 'aumix' did not load and I had no sound in mythtv- so i followed the directions in the wiki and ran 'alsa_init' as root. I also recompiled ivtv. I used aumixer and turned everything up. I saved the file and copied it to /etc/aumixrc . I also tried running alsamixer and turned everything up but my settings are not saved. I have sound but the levels for watching TV and recorded programming is quite low. Playing CDs is just fine. How can I adjust my levels Adrian |

Maybe... http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1613 FYI - I did a search for "mixer" and "settings" and made sure to check the box to "search for all terms". I got 17 hits, of which this was the 6th, but only the first or second that I looked at. |
