unfortuently i have another problem. when i start up my myth box it gets all the way up to where it starts the samba daemon and then says this

"starting samba daemons: nmbd smbd158.135.243.127 sent an invalid ICMP type3, code 3 error to a broadcast 150.135.255.255 on eth0"

if i unplug the eth0 from my wall jack it bypasses this and continues on to work normaly (except for everything involving the internet/LAN)

im still pretty new to this so im not sure what any of that jibberish up there means.

i also forgot to add, that when it shows the problem it will not bypass it and my keyboard lights blink.

why what did you do to the samba configs? That is a strange subnet and mask.

i actualy would not know where to go to change something.. i was watching a recording and my box froze up on me during the last 3 seconds so i had to turn off the power with out going through the proper shutdown and when i turned my box back on it just showed up like that.

you may need to run a fsck on your drives.

well after reformatting the problem quickly happend again after i had rebooted once or twice more. After reading the problem more carefully this time though i noticed that it wasnt my computer that was causeing the problem but the school's server was sending the wrong responces to my compter(i live in dorms). My fix was to plug it into a small 4 port router.
