So I just set up a dedicated frontend on a spare laptop I had sitting around and followed the various trails of into in the wiki and here. So far, so good...
Now, I know it's connecting to the database because I can get the tuner status, see the names of the movies in my gallery, so on and so forth. But when I enter the Media Library and go to View Recordings, it briefly shows the screen where all my shows sit, and then bam, crashes immediately (back to X)
I looked in what logs I know to look to (var/log/messages, dmesg) and din't see anything strange at all. My backend has a frontend running on the box so this is a new dedicated frontend to an already perfectly fine system.
Any ideas or better ideas on what to troubleshoot?
