Hey all

I am currently having a problem getting sound from my capture card and I got this feeling that it may be that the aux in (sb live) is muted - ideas on how to play with that setting (knoppmyth r4v4)

what kind of capture card do you have?
you can try alsamixer to see if the line-in is muted.

Thats what I tought - funny thing is is that there doesn seem to be any setting for that in alsmixer :o very weird - so I thought I'd have a go at upgrading alsa :o - just for he record that was a very bad idea. Seems Im becoming an old hand at installing knoppmyth :D. Ill see if the problem persists in v5 now.
