I would dearly like to see a module to playback my pictures to my music both in random order this would go a long way to offsetting the wife approval factor (yeah like MCE only less buggy hmmm). I find it a bit odd that both the current modules don't intergrate at all... maybe just need a way to add the picture playback as a visualazation module to the music program? Anyone know any hack or add on that would facilitate this on MythTV?

I don't know anything like that, but I know that someone was working on a menu that allowed tv or music playback to continue, so that might be a good start in that direction, but not sure what happened with that. I don't think it is making it into 0.17 if it's still even active.
