I had been annoyed by the fact that windows in FVWM were not movable or resizable as indicated and solved in the following post: http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... light=fvwm so I followed the instructions and am happy to say that windows are now resizable, etc. The problem now is whenever I watch TV or do anything else FVWM blanks the screen every few minutes. It's not a big deal but just a little annoying when you are watching a movie and have to get the keyboard to unblank the screen. So could anyone tell me what is it in the rc file that specifies to blank the screen? I looked in the file and couldn't find anything obvious. Thanks in advance for any help, Hish |

Perhaps comparing the old .fvwm2rc to the new one...notice the line about xset?! That is what you need. Sorry I'm away from my boxen and cannot given the exact parameters. |
