I've transfered some .avi and some .mpg files from my Windows PC to the Myth box and placed them into the /myth/video directory. Great! Now, how do I get myth to see them and allow me to play them from within the GUI?

go to settings->video manager and it will put them in the list for you, and also allow you to delete old files and assign IMDB values to get the pictures and descriptions.
