OK, really dumb question here. How do you start mythphone? I've been on the website and searched the forum, but I can't seem to find it. I'm running r5a12. I don't see the menu option and I tried looking through the file system. |

it's not compiled in it. you have to compile it yourself. it's in /usr/src/mythtv/sources. untar the mythphone, run ./configure afterward, you have to change your Makefile to target to /usr (someone confirm me on this again..forgot now), and you should be able to make; make install. |

it registered and rings but i couldn't get sound on my old nforce2 board. I didn't bother with it on the new board with SB live. I don't feel like answering phones like that. Besides, there's no echo cancelation built in, it'll be hard for the other party to hear their own echos. |
