Post subject: | After upgrade : "Unable to initialize video" |
I just upgraded to R5A15 from R5A12 . Since doing a mythrestore I am unable to watch TV or watch videos. Whenever I try to watch video or TV I get the myth background screen with the error "Unable to initialize video". I have tried to reinstall nvidia drivers (xvinfo looks fine). I have also gone through mythsetup. FYI my hardware is a Chaintech 7NIF2 with a PVR-250. here is my dmesg... I get this problem if I have xvmc checking in the tv settings under myth setup. It is a new setting on the PVR350 setup screen at the bottom. You might want to go in and check that. |

it's under tv settings playback like the 4th or 5th screen use pvr350 is at the top of the screen followed by a very big empty box then at the very bottom below the box is the use xvmc checkbox. |
