Post subject: | How do I partition two hard drives |
So, I am having trouble createing a setup with two hard drives for my system. I have two 200G Hard drives that I would like to setup so that the first drive would be partitioned into 4 (like the auto does) and then the second disk would add 200G to the /myth folder. So, I did was to do a fresh Auto-install of Knoppmyth and then go back in and use the installation disk to create a partition for my second disk (because fdisk or cfdisk commands could not be found). Upon completion of creating the LVM FS partition on the second disk, I restarted the computer. Then I ran the commands that website told me to: http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=24029. When I checked the final size of the /myth folder it said 3Gb. What did I do wrong, and How can I rectify my problem? |

The walk through on the wiki is what I used successfully. http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=LvmHowTo |

I found that wiki and it was pretty helpful only after I figured out where the fdisk command was. O well. Thanks for the help. |
