I've tried a few ways of trying to set up scheduled recordings. I've gone through mythfrontend and set up recordings. I've also used mythweb from another box to set up recordings. The programs show up in Recording Schedules in mythweb, but not in Scheduled Recordings, nor in Upcoming Recordings in mythfrontend. Additionally, nothing ever gets recorded.

Note: I am able to watch live TV.

I'm trying to work out why I'm scheduling these programs yet they aren't showing up or being recorded.

Thanks.

I had this happen to me when I first installed the mythknopp. Basically you just need to use webmin to change the permissions on the sql database. From what I saw the mythtv login to the database has no permissions what so ever. So give that a try and see what happens. FYI if you box is totally locked down from the net, I suggest just giving the mythtv account full admin permission.
