I have been using http://www.iwamble.net/ version of controling my dishnetwork 811 box with an Actisys200L. After upgrading I had to do this again but found that lirc version 0.7.1pre2 does not exist anymore and the how-to on Mythtv docs is gone too! I used the docs from knoppmyth's mythweb and modified the other docs to work with the latest lirc-0.7.2.
All files and my notes are on my ftp site:

Note: You will not have to run the lirc2remote script, a preconfigured remote-0.7.2 is already provided saving lots of time.

I have sent this file to iwamble, so he will probably update his site too.

I have updated the instructions to work with new 0.19 and added the latest lirc_0.8.0. The new gz file containing all files and my instructions are on my ftp site. (elgordo mirror).
