Post subject: | KnoppMyth will not change stations to record programed shows |
I am using a AirShow HD5000 card and R5A26 of KnoppMyth. I programmed a bunch of shows on different stations and when I when to watch of the recorded shows, I noticed that the record occurred but the wrong station was recorded. The station recorded was the station I was last viewing live. How do I get KnoppMyth to change stations as specified by the EPG list? I can change channels manually by typing in the [channel number][sub channel number] and pressing "OK" on my remote. [+] and [-] don't work to change the stations/channels. Pentium 4, 3.2GHz, 1GB RAM, 200GB IDE HDD, GeForce 6600GT (HDTV via component video) and AirStar HD5000. |

Post subject: | Myth recording wrong channel |
I noticed this also today. I just installed Knopmyth R5A26 with a Hauppauge PVR-500 MCE, and everything seemed to be working fine. I set up two recordings at the same time, and both fired correctly except the second program to record didn't switch channels at all. Tuner 1 recorded perfectly - Tuner 2 recorded the last channel I watched live tv with. I've also noticed that when using PIP (pictre in picture) that when i switch the PIP channels using the N key, tuner 2 in the background doesn't switch channels, it stays the same. I can select tuner sources and change channels while watching live TV, using the Y key to change tuners, but it seems that when using both tuners at the same time the channel isn't changing on the second tuner. Anyone have any ideas? |

Post subject: | Ok, now it won't change the channel for recording at all. |
Well... something has come up. I can change the channel while watching live TV and everything seems fine, but the recordings won't switch channels at all. So while recording "Channel 2" I'm actually recording channel 57. While trying to record "Channel 6" I'm getting 57 again. The text and channel number are correct on the recorded information, but the video and audio are the wrong channel. Getting desperate here. I don't want to go back to R5A16 and a single software encoder tuner. Does anyone have a link that I've missed, or some ideas? |

It maybe a case of signal strength, but that is just a guess. I'd suggest checking your cable connection (assuming you are using an antennae for OTA). You may also want to upgrade to SVN version of MythTV it generally work better for HDTV. |
