ok, i got samba working with the DSmythfilters but i thought there was a script that maked all the files in the tv folder readable instead of #'s you would get letters (ie, LOST, etc) so i thought the script was called makepretty.sh but i guess not ![]() so, if any body could tell me the name of the script (and where its located) i would be very happy. also how would i add this to the start up list (ie get the script to run every boot up) thanks for the help. |

it's mythlink maybe mythlink.sh can't remember exactly where it's located right now. there are some posts that tell you how to have it run at 5 after the hour and half hour using cron so it basically has all your files all the time. |

its MYTHLINK.sh and you can run it straght form anywhere. i used putty, loggged in as root and ran mythlink.sh it worked fine! but, i cant find the posts with instructions as to get this to run at bootup (or every few hours) |

http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... hlink+cron has the info. it's rather long, but everything you need is in there. read through the whole tread if you don't really understand cron, but the 05/35 is in the last post. |
