Is there an easy upgrade or update path from R5A26 to R5A30? The pamphlet http://www.mysettopbox.tv/doc.html says:
Quote:
Auto Upgrade
**NOTE** You must have performed a backup for Auto Upgrade to work. This will automatically upgrade KnoppMyth from an earlier version (R3 or R4).
but no mention of R5 there?

Thanks guys. It also strikes me that there are probably a few important things one ought to backup manually prior to upgrading, eg. if one has made any customisations to fstab, lircd.conf, bootmisc.sh, change_channel.sh et al - as I don't think these are included in the automatic backup procedure?
Is there a HowTo on what other stuff it's a good idea to back up before upgrading? I couldn't find one. If not, maybe I could post the list of things I have so far, and others could add their own suggestions?

 Don't frelling hijack your own thread. Your query was answered. If you want a suggested list of what to back, start a new thread.
