I've been running knoppmyth for a couple of weeks now and been generally very happy, however in the last few days new channels have been appearing, it looks like all of the ones from the radio times guide are being added, despite my /home/mythtv/.mythtv/<videosource>.xmltv containing only the freeview channels. I know mythfilldatabase can add channels if you add the 'datadirect' option on the command line - does Knoppmyth do this automatically for some reason? Can I stop knoppmyth from doing mythfilldatabase and just use cron (as the command line running seems not to cause the problem) Finally, how do I clear out the extra channels without breaking things (DELETE * FROM channel WHERE ...) ? I think you can disable channels from being viewable in myth-setup. |

Use myth web. It is a very easy way to delete channels. I had extra channels appearing but zap2it had added them to my list autmatically. Removing them from zap 2 it fixed my problem. rkshack |
