| Post subject: | Upgrade keeping recording preferences |
Hi, I've just upgraded by doing a fresh install and want to keep all the "Recording Schedules" and past recorded information (So it doesn't record duplicate shows again). I made a dump of the database before i did the upgrade and was wondering which tables I need to re-import to keep this information? Thanks! |

If you did a backup from the KnoppMyth menu option then auto upgrade, you've nothing to worry about. |

I did NOT do an upgrade, I did a fresh install because I added new hardware and the upgrade failed. However, I do have a backup of the mythconverg database and just want to replace the tables that are needed for this functionality. |

Then I'd suggest reading the MythTV docs as it covers this.... |
