In the /usr/lib/Krp/Dragon there is a file for xine it looks like defaults does anyone know were that should be copied to and/or named.

It goes to:

/home/mythtv/.xine/config (it's a file, not a directory)
Make sure that it's owned by "mythtv". i.e. if you copy it over as root, you may have permissions problems.

I had to make one tweak - I think it was the sound. Changing to ALSA or something like that? I've got a "near-dragon", with the same sound card, and my mobo is the non-platinum MSI (no firewire and no 2nd network, otherwise the same).

thanks for the info. I build a system to the dragon specs I get sound out of the speaker jake but not out of the optical jakes, what change did you make to fix this that you talked about.
