I have DVD's that I ripped to HD with DVD Shrink, which replicates the formal DVD format on the hard drive. I'm accessing them via a share on my XP box via SAMBA. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to what DVD's it listed in the library (All in the same format, folder name, vob's and ts's inside). I end up with a mixture of DVD names that don't play anything, and VTS 01 01, 02, 03 VTS 02, 01, 02 etc. that appear to be the videos.

What format does Myth expect the DVD's to look like on the drive so I can get coverart, descriptions, etc - and have the names look right.

With DVD shrink, you can output to an ISO file, then you can copy this file to your KnoppMyth box and they will work fine, I do this myself.

Ah yes but what are you using to play the ISO, and can you get full menu support?

I just use the standard player supplied with KnoppMyth and they work fine. I don't use the menus so I wouldn't know, but I suspect that Xine would play fine.
