Is there a way to set up MythMusic on KnoppMythTV to access an online radio station and stream that? I have the link for the stream (in .pls file format or mms://), I just don't know where to input it.

There is a plugin (unofficial) called Mythstream (which is different from MythStreamTV) which will stream both radio and video from the Internet. You can also execute a custom MPlayer command (referencing the right URL) through MythVideo. I *think* there also some patches to MythMusic to do what you want but I've never tried that.

Note the bits about problems with the script. I just redid the install last night for R5B7 as I hadn't redone it since upgrading.

Anyone know how to get the mythweb interface to mythstream up with R5B7?

Hi,

There are a couple of flavors of the mythstream-install.sh scripts and depends on which one used if it works. If it doesn't work, it just shows fail or some other error when you try a stream, no harm. The Hawian Radio seems to be always up so is a good test.

Would be handy if it would echo an update version .. I usually add a suffix to mine so I can know it worked where. mythstream-install-A30.sh & etc

The problem mentioned on the wiki with non-working script (and that I encountered) is that it fails to ftp the mplayer source (whereas http works ok).

The problem you mentioned is one that I encountered (and from reading the script might also be produced by the script) is because the system can't find mplayer. You just need to copy it from wherever you compiled it to /usr/local/bin (IIRC).
