Post subject:  StreamTV?

I've been messing with this with no luck. Port 8002 opens, but 8001 is closed --- in fact, according to the VLC HTTP interface on port 8002, it can't play the media file?

Any tips?

StreamTV does not leave any log entries that denote a problem.

However VLC messages give me this :

So it looks like VLC is connecting. Just can't make head or tail out of what StreamTV is sending.

Any suggestions?

What exactly are you trying to stream? What is the source/capture card and settings you are using? I do not have any problems streaming captured video from my PVR250.

Post subject:  Changing VLC settings for streamtv?

Ok,

Got it to work. But I need to change the video contrast settings. When I try to go into the Administration link on the stream control page (via port 8002) it asks for a user/password. users mythtv and root don't work. How can I change vlc settings?

Thanks
