Hi There

I am having some trouble logging into MythWeb. I can see the "Welcome screen" just fine but when I try to go to MythWeb then it will not accept my password. Since my server is not visible from the internet then I would actually prefer to remove the password protection. I tried running ToggleWebSecurity and it says "Apache security off. Restarting Apache" but I am still being asked to login.

This is the case from both my Windows XP laptop and from Lynx on the Knoppmyth PC itself.

Any ideas for fixing this ?

I think you've hit the IE bug. Try using a different browser. Firefox should work.

Unfortunately not. I forgot to write that. Same result with Firefox 1.5.0.2 and IE 6.0.2900.

Should it be possible to access MythWeb with Lynx on the backend-server ?

Thank you very much This actually worked. The strange thing is that I thought I had tried this allready but maybe I had not logged in as root .... or maybe I used the -all switch instead...

Now I just need to get MythStreamTV working and Knoppmyth have giving me a better HTPC than I had imagined possible
