Hi,

I just saw this system advertised on techbargains.com. Seems like one heck of good deal... but the big question is... Does it work with KnoppMyth or not? Its got a VIA chipset which I understand to be a bit dicey. Has anyone tried this system motherboard?

If it works, it's be one heck of a deal...

Thanks!

Andrew Lynch

It's up to you, but I have a personal policy which states that I will not use any VIA bios on a MythTV box. (Yes, I have to update my sig.) My experience, and the reports of others has been that the bios is not able to keep up with the large number of DMA requests that video capture requires.

Your experience may be different however.
