For some time the current government has been promising to rewrite the copyright laws so that people who record TV programs aren't actually breaking the law... well the first details are out and its damned ugly (but not as bad as the ones that were proposed in the US).

The real pearl in the proposed legislation is that you can play each recording you make only once, then it has to be deleted !
