If you didn't configure using the info in the first post then you're not folding for KnoppMyth! You should use the -config option. You can still do it if you cancel by Ctrl^C and use the -config option.

I did...I think it waits for a complete work unit to include users on the stats page...or maybe the stats are not real time

Holy cr@p! Chris -- what the heck are you running??? Are you hosting a farm of KnoppMyth boxes or are you running spare cycles in a super computer somewhere?

I just have to chuckle every time I see the screen name "mythingpersons". Now THAT'S clever. But maybe it should have been "mythingperthons"?
:lol:

Based on our averages on the http://www.hardfolding.com/index.php?go=1001&page=1 site, we should settle in under the top 100 teams... eventually. We need some more troopers to join in. Or for Chris to set up 15 more computers at his house. =)

Once I get my KnoppMyth completely working like I want, I'll add it to the farm... sounds like a solid group of participants - something I wouldn't mind becoming a part of. Last distributed processing group I joined I was the only one running the software like 3 months later. Kinda took the fun out of it.

Install as a service Tip:

Create the startup script in the directory with FAH. In my case it looks like below:

Code:
case "$1" in
start)
cd /myth/data/folding
su mythtv -c /myth/data/folding/FAH504-Linux.exe > /dev/null 2>&1 &
;;
stop)
killall -v FAH504-Linux.exe
;;
esac

Make the script executable
Code:
chmod +x fah-script

make a shortcut to the script in the /etc/init.d directory

Code:
cd /etc/init.d
ln -s /myth/data/folding/fah-script .

Add it to start up
Code:
update-rc.d fah-script defaults

What did you do, fire up the OTHER half of the nation's computers and harness them to our group?? I'd love to see a pic of your farm someday! Geek heaven...
