I'm packing a house , wife and kids at the moment and doing some remote work for my new boss.

I was running the IT department at a private school in Nowra , NSW , Australia. (http://www.nac.nsw.edu.au/)
But the the new job will be for the Cayman Free Press (http://www.cfp.ky/) , in the Cayman Islands. Doing the same.

I'll soon be looking into adding 80 odd systems to the fold

So the time I have at the moment is quite good , as a move to the other side of the globe seem to take a bit of work !

The hard part at the moment is I'm limited to only one system, to play with the moment , and I'm not barve enough to break that one ( its the only way everyone watched TV )

But it has give me a bit of time to play with myth see
Code:
wget -q -O - http://www.chrisjoyce.id.au/mythtv/webinstall.sh | sh

it dose the following ( via a selection menu )

install rrdtool Disk usage
install libdvdcss and w32codecs (decode dvd's)
install unrar
upgrade xine-lib 1.1.2 --> 1.1.4
upgrade imdb.pl to work with new IMDB site

and will add (when I finish it in a few days)

install torrentflux
install phpMyAdmin
upgrade nuvexport
MoBlock
install avimanager

Ugh.. good luck migrating! Been there, done that. When is the big day?

Nifty little installer you got there though! Why isn't this part of KM yet? :-)

It would appear that some of those are upgrades and fixes post release of R5E50.

I am up to having 4 machines run Folding@Home. I am hoping to crack the top 20 soon. It is fun to track the progress!

Why not run BOINC instead. It allows you to pick multiple projects and delegates the work as you specify. I see FAH is included with knoppmyth, but with BOINC people could choose from many others. FAH is even working on a client (backburner, but still)

Yeah, we haven't been very active lately.. sadly, I don't even know who the leader character is! hahaha! (I've been doing more BOINC lately.)

There is a persistent rumor that Stanford's Folding@home is developing a BOINC client.. in spite of denials. (yeah, I see Stanford U. and UC Berkeley on the same page!)

It's interesting to see the CPE spike... As you can clearly tell, these boxes do not see much load....

I've added a few cpus around the office the past couple of weeks. Will probably add a few more when time allows. Too bad they don't have an SMP version for PPC Macs. I see the new PS3 clients are producing some serious numbers.
