This may be old news for some people, but I had to share...

While searching for something mythtv related today, google returned sponsored ads from snapstream (who makes the BeyondTV software) that said "Why build a mythtv pvr? save the hassle with Beyond TV, easy to set up and easy to use." Far from making me consider switching, it actually made me happy to know that a commercial company actually considers mythtv to be that much of a threat to their business:-)!

It's funny - I subscribed to the MythTV mailing list with a gmail account, and at the top of every email (when using the web interface) they have that same quote.

Well, they build a good remote....
(a lot of which, end up in Mythboxes.....)
