Anyone get ANY version of Winmyth working with Knoppmyth? I've had no sucess with Winmyth 0.07 to 0.09 connecting to R4V4.1 or V5. I always get unhandled exception errors on the windows machine. My postings on the Winmyth forum haven't resulted in any solutions, so I am hoping someone here will have a suggestion or 2. BUMP Anyone ever get WinMyth running under WinXP? I get an error with a 'do you want to debug' dialog box when I try to run the thing for the first time. |

I installed WinMyth and got it working. It still crashes regularly. The key is to get DSMyth working properly over the network with MySQL. I found it fairly difficult to get it working and nearly trashed my knoppmyth system "adjusting" user permissions, etc. I found webmin fairly useful as a help. Thanks for the tips Andrew. Unfortunately, it's still a no-go . I've got dsmyth working with mysql, but when I launch winmyth it still crashes

I am also using the DSMyth .8 release. When WinMyth crashes, tell it to "continue". The next time it starts, it should be OK. You will have to manually change the date to today to see useful schedule information. Andrew Lynch |
