Battlestar Galactica
Star Trek TNG
Modern Marvels
Chappelles Show
South Park
Simpsons
Good Eats
Iron Chef America
Frontline
Nova

I already have all the Family Guy DVD's. I have watched most of the Seinfeld episodes.

The times I have watched the Daily Show it was funny. Any others?

Cesman must be really smart since he is recording some of the same shows. The overlaps:

Frontline
Nova
Modern Marvels
South Park
Simpsons
Good Eats

If you don't mind some reruns...

Futurama reruns on Cartoon Network (if you don't already own the DVDs ;-))
MI-5 on A&E
Northern Exposure reruns on Hallmark (I'd forgotten how good this was)
The Dead Zone on USA (it could be better but it's worth checking out)

Most of the rest of my recoding schedules are Anime and other animation. ;-)

Ours:
Lost
Alias
Desperate Housewives
Amazing Race
Survivor
The Apprentice

Mine:
Battlestar Galactica
South Park
Nova
Nature

Hers:
???
Whatever's on HGTV

Theirs:
Disney channel shows

Man... That's kind of depressing when I list it all out like that. I didn't think we watched that much TV.

We tend to watch everything on Sunday evenings - six shows, less commercials, is about 4 and a half hours. Not much gets watched during the week.[/b]

Cecil:

Battlestar Galactica
Modern Marvels
Simpsons
Good Eats
Iron Chef America
Nova

Me:

The Daily Show
Futurama
Sea Lab 2021
Home Movies
Venture Brothers
Survivor
Amazing Race
Lost
Battlestar Galactica
Stargate Alantis
Star Trek: DS9
Star Trek: Enterprise
Simpsons
Arrested Development
Sketch Show

I recommend Arrested Development. Espically the first season, which would make a great rental.

edit: I didn't even describe what I recommended! Arrested Development is a funny show about a family which has lost its riches. It follows the formula that News Radio had. One character who believes everything will be fine if it is put in order and a bunch of other characters who will have nothing of the sort. Its added by a narrator who chimes in ironic comments.

If Brainac is syndicated to your area, you might want to check it out http://www.skyone.co.uk/programmes/brainiac/

It "actually does the kind of lab experiments you would never be allowed to do in school, using inadvisable and dangerous substances." Including:
What does it take to destroy a black box flight recorder?
Things you shouldn't put in the microwave.
Things you can't do while being electrocuted (I particularly liked that one).
Does drinking lager make you bad at sport?
It just began showing on MTV in my area.
