I am looking to purchase a PVR-250 and currently buy.com has it at the cheapest price (127.99 + free shipping). But I looked at the tech specs for it and saw this.



So does that mean this is a PAL only card or will it still work with NTSC?

The meaning of the post was not about telling people about the price. It was to tell them that in the specs on the Buy.com website it states that it is a PAL only card. My question was if it might still work for NTSC. Maybe it was a misstake on Buy.com's part or maybe it really is a PAL card. Maybe it does both. The point was I didn't know and I was asking if anyone else knew. I originaly posted it in the hardware section, and it was moved.

Posts about deals on xyz product are off topic. If Buy states the card is PAL only, how are we suppose to know if it is NTSC capable?! Odds are, it isn't...

According to Hauppauge's website, the PVR-250 is both PAL and NTSC (http://www.hauppauge.com/html/wintvpvr250_datasheet.htm)...and considering it is a U.S. retailer only and does not even ship to places PAL is used, they would not be selling a PAL only card anyway.
