I doubt if any of you guys will be there, but I'm going to be at Phreaknic. They are going to have a demonstration of how to install mythtv using knoppmyth, and Dolemite has asked me to help with the QA session, so if anyone happens to be there say hi. note: the site appears to be down at the moment, not sure what that's about. |

It went pretty well. We got through a whole install, but couldn't get the tv listings, as the net connection in the presentation room was not working. They were very interested in the firewire capture, and the new mythstreamtv functionality, they are thinking of using it next year to allow people to stream the presentations to their rooms, which would be cool. Not so much luck on my other motivation for going to find a person to fill a telephony position I have available, but I enjoyed the convention. I wish I had been able to hang around and watch the drunken DDR, but had other commitments. |
