My project for today was to get X to display on my LCD monitor in additon to the TV on the
tvout of my pvr350. The monitor that I am using is a wide screen SONY SDM-V72W -
It does a nice 1280x768. I have had it working great under debian prior to installing
knoppmyth. The revelant part of X config is below. The problem is that at the 1280
resolution, I am getting vertical distortion. At 1024x768 or below I don't have the
problem. The problem is most obvious after X starts, but before the window
manager starts. After the window manager starts any text appearing over one of
the vertical strips is distorted.
The pre-window manager X screen looks like this:

My X server log for session is at:

Has anyone see this before? I assume its a issue with one of my mode lines.. or maybe I
am missing an option in my x config.
thanks all :)
