Here a link with the origional details on getting the deal.
Link

System for $600 consists of:
P4 3ghz CPU with Hyperthreading
875 chipset (motherboard)
80gb 7200 RPM Hard Drive
256MB DDR Dual Channel RAM
128MB DDR GeForce FX 5200 Graphics Card with TV-Out and DVI (FX Cards can use XVMC)
Integrated Audio
CDROM

All you need to do is slap in a PVR250 in this sucker and you pretty much have a high end pc for a myth box. To save money, since you have a 3ghz processor you can even purchase a cheaper software encoding card.

Now I'm mad that I did not get a pchdtv card instead of the pvr350 for only $198.

This puppy is totally linux supported. Thanks for bumming me out Xsecrets :). The next tv set I buy is going to be an HDTV. Im hoping that the recordings from the 350 won't look too cruddy, but from what I have seen when I watch them on my computer monitor, it does not look too good.

There are these other hdtv cards that are only supported in windows (blah):

Sorry if these are dumb questions, im still learning all about these different video types. OTA stands for over the air right? How is OTA different from what im capturing from the 350? What does 720p mean?
