Hi -

I am using a RedRat2 to control my Sky Digibox. I have created a script that correctly changes the channel if I type 'changeskychannel 613' at the prompt(from the mythtv user account, so permissions are fine). So far, so good. I have told MythTV to use my script by entering the filename in the mythtv-setup. When I schedule a recording to be made, I can see from the backend log that my script is getting called, and I can see its output (it tells me what it's sending to the satellite box when in verbose mode), but from this, I can tell that what it's receiving from MythTV is NOT the channel number that I assigned to the channel it is supposed to record. It's calling my script with the channel name instead. I tried to put the number in the name field as a workaround, but it still calls with the same argument. Very Bizarre. Has anyone ever heard of this? Can anyone suggest a fix for this?

I have a few nonstandard things in my setup, am using PAL, Panasonic SkyDigital UK Digibox hooked into capture card using Composite0 & composite to S-video dongle. Audio direct from the satellite box to the PVR-350 as well. I am using native TV-out on the MB in Twinhead (TV & monitor) mode, and the MB sound out. Got decent video (a couple of artifacts when watching the Simpsons that I assume has to do with the interlacing), good audio, program guide. Everything works great except this one tiny, but important detail.

My setup:
Asus a7n8v-vm/400
AMD 2600+
256k RAM
45GB drive
Hauppage PVR-350/PAL
