I'd like to install Synergy (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net) which would let me use my laptop and "slide" my mouse and keyboard over to my MythTV box, so that I don't need a mouse/keyboard attached. As I see it, I need to have synergy run after X starts. I followed the instructions here (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/configuration.html) for gdm, adding lines to /etc/gdm/Init/Default, /etc/gdm/PostLogin/Default, and /etc/gdm/Sessions/fluxbox.

However this hasn't worked. I put in the lines (using server rather than client) but my daemon.log file gets this:

Any ideas on what might be causing this? Is there another way to do what I'm trying to do?
