There is often an audio drift/ disortion with my tv recordings. I am using ivtv dirver 0.3.7g and changing the ivtv drivers has shown no improvement. I have searched the postings for this issue but have seen no resolutions.

Is it possible that the card is just bad?
I am considering sending the 500 back and ordering a 250 and 350; the 350 for improved video quality over fx5200.

I'm running Knoppmtyh R5A16

Athlon 1700XP
ABit MB with nVidia nForce2 Ultra 400 Chipset
NEC DVD-RW
200GB ATA seagate
1.25GB RAM
geforce FX5200
PVR-500MCE

update:

This may not be a pvr-500 issue. The NF7-S2G Motherboard could very well be the problem. I've revisted some older postings that describe DMA issues with this board.

I've returned the motherboard and pvr-500 an plan to model off a tier 1 system.
