I followed the how to for setup of nuvexport but when I run all the options in th menu except "Export to .nuv and .sql" have (disabled) behind them.
If I try for example option 9 "Mpeg2->Mpeg2 cut only" I get "You need livemux & avidemux2 to use this".

The how to did not talk about them and I can not find much here about them. I have the video going to TV using A PRV-350 so I cant run nuv2dvd because it needs 800x600 screen resolution.

Any help ????

I found a Howto on knoppymthwiki "NuvexportMPEGcut" has how to install "lvempeg" & "avidemux2".

Well the install of "lvempeg" went ok, but the "avidemux2" would not install, It seems to go ok but at the verry end of "make install avidemux2" I get the following error.

> make: *** No rule to make target `avidemux2'. Stop.
-bash: command substitution: line 1: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `''

Also I tried on "rc1", "rc2", and "rc3" and got the same error on all three.

I know this is an old post, but I was hoping someone would have a suggestion or solution.

I too am having issues where in R5A15.1 all of the nuvexport options are disabled (except "Export to .nuv and .sql)

I read at knoppmythwiki.org in the how-to about upgrading and have done that successfully, however everything is still disabled.

Upgraded ffmpeg and mpeg2dec via the knoppmythwiki here:

I then had most of the options enabled, however when I try to encode to Divx, it says it completes, however I can't find my file. I've searched several places on the myth install and can't locate it. I've used the [.] location when it prompts. I even tried [/home/mythtv]

Any suggestions?
