Sorry guys,
I cant get this to work at all.
Still the same problems. The card seem to work but i cant get any tv listings and i cant search for channels..... now i'm actually thinking on putting it in a windows box to try out.. but i have another box i can mess around with first.

a bit long maybe but it should cover your needs to help me.
issues i have.
The channel searcher cant find my card. tuner0 is the most promising option to use i fuigured.
the channel database doesn't complete loading. it just hangs. (i have waited a loong time for it to finish but when top shows no cpu usage at all and my router doesn' tshow any network usage i get a bit worried)
