I have not been able to find any informaion on the currecnt R5D1 version or R5C7 about using a serial cable to change channels to a Motorola DCT 2224.

Or for that mater I might have brain damage and missed something in the setup of R5D1 or R5C7. There seems to not be very much out there on this.

I have made sure my serial cable is "stright thru" (using a pin-out tester) and I am plugged into com1 / 3f8.

Is there somthing written up on these new versions or am I just missing something. Or does something need to be written up in a "how to", if someone could point me in the right direction I would be be more than willing to write up a how to.

I'm also using the dct-channel script with a motorola 2224 and have not been able to get it going on R5D1. If you've had any luck getting it going please post what your solution was.

Argh, i be havin' the same problem as well(wit the same Motorola DCT 2224 tuner as well), an' i be searchin' for 7 days arghh.
