Just installed R5D1 with a PVR-350.
I was able to get GUI and TV out to show up on my TV.

I have run into two issues, after modifying the /etc/init.d/set_itvt_params
I am getting Closed Caption but it is garbled, double letters etc.
The setting added is:
ivtvctl -x 1 -w wss,cc

The other issue is I am running the audio out of the 350 into my mic input of on board sound card. On my hard drive with a previous Knoppmyth installed the playback is in both channels. With the hard drive with R5D1 the right channel does not work.

I have been looking all over "internets" :) but no luck in finding anything to help.

Thanks.

No yet with the audio.

But I did find out if I went to the Myth TV webpage settings and turned off the option to use the PVR350 output, then rebooted, the closed captioning started working again.

With the audio problem, I know it is in the software because on the other drive which has a previous version of Myth TV both channels work
Also when I put the output of the PVR 350 card directly into the TV both the left and right channels are working as well.

Hopefully, someone else can put some input on this as well.

Have either of you visited the TroubleShooting pages on the wiki, and tried upgrading the ivtv driver to the latest appropriate version?
