Hi Everyone -

The documentation that came with my pcHDTV 3000 prompts you to go to their website to download the current drivers. However, they recently debuted a new produict, and I'm not sure if the old driver is still there.

This is their website:

http://www.pchdtv.com

First of all, please reccomend a link for me to use. Then, as I am still new to linux, it would be nice if you could outline the steps for me to download, install, and test the drivers.

Thanks!

KnoppMyth should already have the drivers. Just pop in the card and reboot.
Then quite the front end, and from a command window do:
mythtv-setup
and configure the card. Then you're all set.

And just to clarify, you should configure the card as a DVB card (those are the drivers that MythTV has been using to control the cards for a while now, not the pcHDTV specific ones).

and if everything works properly (and it should) mythtv-setup should run automatically on the first boot after you put the card in because it detected the card.
