Booted from KnoppMyth R5C7 CD and choose auto-install. /dev/hda is a 250GB PATA Maxtor. At the end of the installation the program ejects the install cd-rom (I took it out) and reboots. Machine gets stuck on a prompt: "Boot from CD..."

Changed BIOS seetings to boot from hda but same message. Any ideas / recommendations?

Sounds like it doesn't think it's a bootable disk. This isn't all that uncommon, the trick is to use the install CD as a rescue disk and reconfigure lilo (the boot loader). A search for posts that contain the words "lilo" and "mount" should turn up several with similar topics to yours. You should also be ble to find something on the wiki.
