Hi,

I would like to add a powerpoint viewer for my knoppmyth box. I understand how to add it to the menu - but not sure what viewer to install.

Kpresenter looks promising, but do you need to be running KDE?

OpenOffice - bit bulky?

Any tips appreciated on what/how to install, i don't want to hose my system! ;)

Hi,

I use OO, apt-get install brings down 1.1.3 for me. Just make sure you have the correct sources.list, it was just posted elsewhere earlier.

For working out troubles with powerpoint files you can use current application. --- LINK REMOVED BY MOD --- has many various features for resolving out troubles associated with power failures, viruses, lost data. The software can show the results of working.
