| Post subject: | MythTV DVD Problem |
I searched already but no luck. Hopefully this is a easy fix. I boot up and Mythtv is open. i go to optical devices I select DVD but nothing happens. It just stays there with thew arrow pointed. If i close out of MythTV and just use the Xine player i can watch the DVD. What am i missing? |

Perhaps checking the command that is used to play DVDs in the settings.... |

under MythTV i go to setup, then video, then i Click ont he DVD but it just closes out MythTv and brings up the desktop. |

Run mythfrontend from an xterm. If it crashes, you should see some output in the xterm. Check the backend log. Read the wiki for further details on troubleshooting. |
